Proverbs 26:18,19

As a mad man who casteth firebrands, arrows, and death,

As a mad (man), who casteth firebrands, arrows, and death, so (is) the man (that) deceiveth his neighbour, and saith, Am not I in sport? Compare , "Sporting themselves with their own deceivings." A lie in jest does mischief in earnest. Such Sport the believer feels is "not convenient" (). It is the act of a "madman" playing with deadly implements, with the difference that the madman is not accountable; the jesting liar is (). Much that the world calls 'play' is deadly mischief ().
