Zechariah 9:14

And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD And the LORD shall be seen over them, and his arrow shall go forth as the lightning: and the Lord GOD shall blow the trumpet, and shall go with whirlwinds of the south.

And the Lord shall be seen over them. Another image: "Yahweh shall be seen (conspicuously manifesting his power) over them" - (i:e., in behalf of the Jews and against their foes), as formerly he appeared in a cloud over the Israelites against the Egyptians (; ).

And his arrow shall go forth as the lightning - flashing forth instantaneous destruction to the foe ().

And the Lord God shall blow the trumpet - to summon and incite His people to the battle for the destruction of their foe.

And shall go with whirlwinds of the south - i:e., shall go forth in the most furious storms, such as is one from the south (). Alluding, perhaps, to Yahweh's ancient miracles at Sinai coming "from Teman" (), ('the South,' in margin.)
