Hosea 8:5

Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off, or, "Is rejected thy calf," one of the idols made with their gold, "O Samaria?" the reference being to the calf of Bethel and Samaria, which is being addressed for the whole nation. Mine anger is kindled against them; how long will it be ere they attain to innocency? How long would they be incapable of purity? How long would it be before they would cease from polluting themselves with their idol-worship?
