And therefore will the Lord wait, the miserable condition of Israel causing Him to turn toward His people once more, that He may be gracious unto you, and therefore will He be exalted, withdrawing Himself, removing, hiding behind the veil of His holiness and majesty, for the time being, as it were, that He may have mercy upon you; for the Lord is a God of judgment, He is bound to execute justice.
