Kretzmann's Popular Commentary

Isaiah 62:9

but they that have gathered it shall eat it, the believers enjoying what they had worked for with such trouble, and praise the Lord, and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of My holiness, in connection with sacrifices of thanksgiving made in honor of the Lord. The believers are the only truly happy people in the world, and they enjoy the blessings of the Lord with due thankfulness. Moreover, they invite all the children of Zion to share their happiness and the name given them by Jehovah.
