Jeremiah 50:33

Thus saith the Lord of hosts, The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together, in the captivity of the exile, and all that took them captives held them fast, were still holding them at the time when this prophecy was given; they refused to let them go, so that it might seem as though deliverance were a matter far beyond any possibility. Over against this, however, stands the strong assurance of Jehovah.
