Psalms 2:3

Let us break their bands asunder and cast away their cords from us. The wicked of all times resent the kingly dignity and power, the government, of Jesus Christ; they consider the bearing of His gentle burden, Matthew 11:30, as a tying with bands, as an imprisoning with cords. They want to live in the unbridled licentiousness of their hearts. But how does the, Lord regard this rebellion of the nations and of their rulers?
