Kretzmann's Popular Commentary

Psalms 32:11

Be glad in the Lord and rejoice, ye righteous, the grace of God which they have experienced being the motive for continual joy; and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart, thanking the Lord for all the blessings of His favor and compassion, as shown in the forgiveness of sins. Thus the entire life of the believers is spent in thanking the Lord for His grace and mercy, in humble preparation for the eternal rejoicing in heaven.
