2 Kings 25:15

And the firepans, and the bowls, [and] such things as [were] of gold, [in] gold, and of silver, [in] silver, the captain of the guard took away.

Ver. 15. And such things as were of gold, in gold.] These Chaldees were not of the mind of those Medes, "who regarded not gold, and as for silver, they delighted not in it." Isa 13:17 But it proved more fatal and pernicious to them, than that gold of Tholouse once did to the Roman plunderers.
