σιγήσῃ La[321] Ti[322] from the best MSS. σιωπήσῃ is from the parallels. It suits the sense best, for σιωπᾶν = tacere ‘to hold the tongue;’ and σιγᾶν = silere, ‘to make no noise.’ But σιγᾶν is peculiar to St Luke and St Paul.
