In N.T. it is nowhere used of cattle (of birds, Revelation 19:21), and has no degrading meaning when used of men (Mark 7:27; Mark 8:4; Mark 8:8; etc.). In LXX. χορτάζω and πίμπλημι translate the same Hebrew word, even in the same verse (Psalms 107:9).
