great is my glorying of you See notes on ch. 2 Corinthians 1:14 and ch. 2 Corinthians 5:12. The word here signifies not the groundof rejoicing or boasting, but, as A. V., the act itself. St Paul explains his boldness of speech by the confidence he has that it will not be misplaced. This is another instance of the delicate tact of the Apostle referred to above.
