But without changing the consonants we may read, His possession, or dominion, is the assembly of Jacob; a parallel to the next line. Assembly, Heb. ḳehillah, only here and Nehemiah 5:7, in D and elsewhere ḳahal(see on Deuteronomy 5:22 and Deuteronomy 23:1 (2)), the whole nation as a body politic.
