It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad "They glorified God...saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life," Acts 11:18. It would be impossible to mark more emphatically God's displeasure at the narrow, exclusive, denunciatory spirit which would claim for ourselves only, or our party, or our Church, a monopoly of heaven.
