35. why troublest thou the Master? Or as, literally rendered, it is in St Luke's Gospel (Luke 8:49), "trouble not the Master any further." The word, here translated "trouble," one which is used here and here alone by St Mark and St Luke (except Luke 7:6), denotes properly (1) to flay:then (2) to fatigueor to worry, often with a more particular allusion to fatiguing with the length of a journey.
