thy sons i.e. the priests. The expression was due to the post-exilic practice of all priests of tracing their descent genealogically to Aaron.

thy fathers" house Here it means the whole tribe of Levi, exclusive of Aaron and the priests.

bear the iniquity of the sanctuary … of your priesthood i.e. bear the consequencesof the iniquity of allowing your priesthood, or the sanctuary committed to your charge, to be profaned.
