Psalms 22:30

It shall be accounted&c. i.e. as R.V. marg., It shall be counted unto the Lord forhis generation. Better, however, as R.V. text, It shall be told of the Lord unto the nextgeneration. But here again it seems best slightly to alter the text, and following the LXX to connect the first word of Psalms 22:31 with Psalms 22:30: It shall be told of the Lord unto the generation that shall come:for (1) the generationneeds the qualification which R.V. supplies by inserting next:and (2) they shall comeabsolutely in the sense of they shall come into beingis doubtful.
