Proverbs 31 - Introduction
OUTLINE OF THE VIRTUOUS WOMAN
I.
She is married to a good man (Proverbs 31:23).
II.
Her husband has no fears of her unfaithfulness to him (Proverbs 31:11-12).
III.
She gets up early, cooks breakfast for the family, and gets the day underway (Proverbs 31:15).
IV.
She lives a busy, industrious, useful life:
A.
She clothes her family in a commendable way (Proverbs 31:13; Proverbs 31:19; Proverbs 31:21).
B.
She raises some of their food (Proverbs 31:16), but she buys those things that she cannot raise (Proverbs 31:14).
C.
She looks after every need of her household (Proverbs 31:27).
D.
She is strong and healthy as a result of her work (Proverbs 31:17).
E.
She likes nice things and makes them (Proverbs 31:22).
F.
She makes extras and sells them (Proverbs 31:24).
G.
She puts in a long day (Proverbs 31:26).

She is known for her kind speech (Proverbs 31:26). VI. She looks nice (Proverbs 31:22), but she steers away from feminine vanities (Proverbs 31:30).

She is not afraid of the passing of years but will grow old gracefully (Proverbs 31:25).
