Genesis 47:31
31 And he said, Swear unto me. And he sware unto him. And Israel bowed himself upon the bed's head.
Gen. 47:31. The bowing here spoken of is a bowing of adoration, or a bowing to worship God, as is confirmed by what is said of David, parallel to this, 1 Kings 1:47; 1 Kings 1:48, and also by Hebrews 11:21.
