Galatians 1:5

God is wonderful. And God’s plan through Jesus is wonderful. Therefore, we should always *worship God. ‘This is the truth’ is the word ‘Amen’. People say ‘Amen’ at the end of a prayer. It shows that they agree with the speaker or writer. Paul expected the Christians in Galatia to agree with his prayer.

The reason why Paul was writing this letter

v6 You astonish me. You are leaving God so soon. God chose you and he was kind to you by means of Christ. Now you are listening to a different message. v7 But what you are agreeing with is not the true *good news. There are some people who are trying to confuse you. They are trying to change the *good news about Christ. v8 We taught you the *good news about Christ. Let God punish us if we teach you something different. Let God punish even an *angel from heaven who teaches something different. v9 I have already said this. I will say this again. You believed the true *good news about Christ. Let God punish anyone who teaches you something different.

v10 I am not trying to please people now. Instead, I want to please God. I would not be Christ’s servant if I were trying to please people.
