1 Chronicles 28:11-19

1 CHRONICLES—NOTE ON 1 Chronicles 28:11 The gold and silver temple vessels (vv. 1 Chronicles 28:14) were later removed by the Babylonians (2 Chronicles 36:18) but were then returned by the Persians, after the exile (Ezra 1:7). Their presence in the postexilic temple, in the days when the Chronicler was writing, were a sign of God’s covenant faithfulness to his people.
