1 CORINTHIANS—NOTE ON 1 CORINTHIANS 13:12 MIRROR DIMLY. Ancient
mirrors were made from polished metal. Thus one’s reflection was
more “dim” than in modern mirrors. FACE TO FACE seems to refer to
Christ’s second coming. The spiritual gifts of this age will no
longer be needed then.
