DANIEL—NOTE ON Daniel 10:5 Daniel received a vision of a heavenly being, dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold... around his waist. His body glowed with inner light, like beryl, a gemstone. His face shone like lightning. His eyes were like torches and his arms and legs like polished bronze. The sound of his words echoed like the roar of a crowd. Yet this glorious figure was unable to complete his task without the help of Michael (v. Daniel 10:13), so it is unlikely that this is a physical manifestation of God or Christ.
