Deuteronomy 33:2

DEUTERONOMY—NOTE ON Deuteronomy 33:2 Sinai was the mountain where God gave Israel the law. This is the only place in Deuteronomy 1:1 where Mount Sinai is called by that name. Everywhere else, it is called “Horeb.” Seir is another name for Edom, where Sinai was situated (see Judges 5:4). Mount Paran was in the same area (Deuteronomy 1:1). holy ones.
