Joshua 8:2

JOSHUA—NOTE ON Joshua 8:2 its spoil and its livestock you shall take as plunder. God has the right to determine the nature and extent of destruction in any given instance. For example, in Deuteronomy 20:1 the treatment of cities outside the land of Canaan is less severe than that of cities within the land.
