Proverbs 2:5-8

PROVERBS—NOTE ON Proverbs 2:5 The first benefit of wisdom is that one will understand the fear of the LORD. This knowledge is possible only because the Lord gives it to the upright. While wisdom is to be sought diligently, it is not something merited by the actions of an individual.
