PSALM—NOTE ON Psalms 62:8 After speaking to his own soul (vv. Psalms 62:5), the singer now addresses the whole congregation (O people). He urges them to trust in God and to find in him a refuge. They should refuse to participate in the methods of the attackers (put no trust in extortion). Humans are together lighter than a breath, so any merely human effort will fail to achieve lasting good.
