PSALM—NOTE ON Psalms 91:14 The psalm closes by laying out what trust in God looks like (holds fast to me in love, knows my name, and calls to God) and by repeating God’s pledge to care for his faithful ones (deliver, protect, answer, be with him in trouble, rescue, honor). Such a person will have long life (probably implying eternal life; see note on 23:5–6) and will enjoy God’s salvation.
