ZECHARIAH—NOTE ON Zechariah 10:6 The Lord’s people were once like sheep without a shepherd (v. Zechariah 10:2). He rejected them because they refused to seek forgiveness for their sin. Now he will have compassion on them. He will complete the restoration begun when he brought Judah back from exile. This restoration will extend beyond Judah to include the house of Joseph, the northern kingdom, which was scattered by the Assyrians in 732, 722, 701, and 671 B.C.
