"And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Make ye no ado; for his life is in him"Fell on him, and embracing him": As Elijah (1 Kings 2:19 ff) and Elisha (2 Kings 2:32) did with certain deceased persons in the O.T. "Make ye no ado":"Do not be troubled" (NASV). This probably includes the admonition to cease any mourning or wailing. Jesus had said the same thing at the house of Jairus (Mark 5:39). "For his life is in him": It had been gone (Acts 20:9).
