“But that ye also may know my affairs, how. do, Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things”

“Known my affairs, how. do”: “Know about my circumstances, how. am doing” (NASV). Obviously. congregation that Paul had spent three years with, and who in turn dearly loved him (Acts 20:37), would be very concerned and eager to hear any news about his welfare. “Tychicus”: (TIKE ih kuhs).. Christian from the province of Asia (Acts 20:4). Apparently he would serve as. frequent messenger for Paul (Titus 3:12; 2 Timothy 4:12). It appears that he will deliver this letter to the church in Ephesus, the letter to the Colossians (Colossians 4:7), and that possibility all at the same time he is accompanying Onesimus and bringing Paul's personal letter to Philemon (Colossians 4:9).
