“Now unto our God and Father be the glory for ever and ever. Amen”

“Our God and Father”: A call for united praise. “Uniting himself once again with his converts in. song of praise to the one who provides for the needs of all his people” (Hawthorne p. 209). This God so magnificent is actually our Father (Matthew 6:9). “Be the glory for ever and ever”: The Christian is the person who is content to allow God to be in the spotlight-forever. The Christian understands that only God deserves everlasting praise and adoration. “Amen”: “As. closing word serves to approve of what has been said, and is an expression of confirmation and assurance. So it is! Sure and unquestionable! So let it be!” (Muller p. 153).
