Before VIhsou/ the Textus Receptus, in accord with a K L P most minuscules syr^h cop^bo arm al, reads kuri,ou. Since it is more likely that copyists would have added rather than deleted such a word, the Committee preferred the shorter text, which is supported by good representatives of early types of text (A B 81 1739 vg cop^sa).
