Luke 17:24 o` ui`o.j tou/ avnqrw,pou @evn th|/ h`me,ra| auvtou/# {C}

Although copyists may have inadvertently omitted the phrase evn th|/ h`me,ra| auvtou/ because of homoeoteleuton (&pou&tou), the Committee was impressed by the combination of evidence for the shorter text in the best representatives of the Alexandrian and the Western types of text (î75 B D ita, b, d, e, i). The readings with parousi,a, a word that occurs nowhere else in the Gospel according to Luke, are the result of scribal assimilation to the parallel passage in Matthew 24:27.
