Mark 6:2 kai. ai` duna,meij … gino,menai {C}

A majority of the Committee preferred the grammatically difficult reading of the Alexandrian text (a* B 33 892 al) as best accounting for the origin of the other readings; thus, some witnesses added ai` after toiau/tai (ac L D), while many others eliminated the article before duna,meij and changed the participle into a finite verb, either gi,nontai or gi,nwntai (introduced by i[na). The latest reading, which was incorporated into the Textus Receptus, prefixes o[ti to the indicative clause.
