He hath perfected forever [τ ε τ ε λ ε ι ω κ ε ν ε ι ς τ ο δ ι η ν ε κ ε ς]. Note the continued emphasis upon the teleiwsivperfection. Comp. ch. Hebrews 7:11; Hebrews 7:19; Hebrews 9:9; Hebrews 10:1; Hebrews 12:2. No more sacrifices are needed. The reign of the Great High Priest is not to be interrupted by the duty of sacrifice.
