Exodus 35 - Introduction

The sad interruption which had been given to the great affair of setting up God's worship being now happily ended,
(1,) Moses gives Israel those instructions he had received, which required a present observance. 1, Concerning the sabbath, Exodus 35:1; Exodus 35:2, Concerning the contribution that was to be made for erecting the tabernacle, Exodus 35:4; Exodus 35:3, Concerning the framing of the tabernacle, and the utensils of it, Exodus 35:10.
(2,) The people bring in their contributions, Exodus 35:20.
(3,) The head workmen are nominated, Exodus 35:30.
