1 Chronicles 29:13

Now therefore, our God, we thank thee. — And now, our God, we are thanking thee, and praising (participles in the Hebrew). Môdîm, “thanking,” occurs nowhere else, though the verb is common in other forms.

Thy glorious name. — The name of thy glory: here only. (Comp. Isaiah 63:14, and Psalms 72:19.)
