Hawker's Poor man's commentary

Exodus 38:9-20

By the court of the tabernacle we may suppose is meant the church of the Lord Jesus upon earth. The extent of it a hundred cubits was about sixty-one yards. Song of Solomon 4:12. Happy they that enter into it. Psalms 84:10; Psalms 84:10. The washing in the laver before the entry, carried this idea, that it is by the blood and righteousness of Jesus alone that admission can be found. 1 Peter 3:21.
