Proverbs 19:10-12

Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes. The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression. The king's wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass.

Of what king doth the scriptures here speak but of Jesus? Of his wrath we have a striking account, Psalms 2:12. And both the wrath of the Lamb, and the lion of the tribe of Judah, are characters under which Jesus is spoken of. Revelation 5:5 See a most striking description. Revelation 6:12.
