(2 Kings 22:14) We cannot sufficiently admire the firmness of this woman, in the answer she returned to king Josiah. Tell the man that sent you, thus saith the Lord, "Behold, I will bring evil upon this place; but because thine heart was tender, and thou hast humbled thyself before the Lord, thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place." It is a blessed thing to be found faithful both to God and man!
