The rich and delicious blessings of the gospel are figuratively set forth as marrow; hence David speaks of them as such to his soul. (Psalms 63:5) And the prophet Isaiah represents the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ as "a feast of fat things, and full of marrow." (Isaiah 25:6)
