Frog. The original Hebrew word signifies a marsh-leaper. We find frogs mentioned only in connection with the plague inflicted upon the Egyptians. Exodus 1:8-14, Psalms 78:45, Psalms 105:30, and for illustration, Revelation 16:13. Naturalists disagree as to the species of frogs at present found in Egypt.
