Perizzites (pĕr'iz-zîtes), villagers. The Perizzites lived apparently in villages in the open country in the south part of Palestine, and were expelled during the conquest. Genesis 13:7, Genesis 34:30, Joshua 17:15, Judges 3:5, 1 Kings 9:20, 2 Chronicles 8:7, Ezra 9:1.
