Jacob called it Galeed and Mizpah; as if he had said, let the Galeed be witness, and this Mizpah be witness, There is something very tender and interesting in this parting of natural ties never to meet again. Such will be the everlasting separation in every instance of nature, where our affinities are not new-formed in grace.
