Salmo 4

He aquí yo cuando clamo, oh Dios de mi justicia: tú me ensanchaste cuando estaba en angustia; ten piedad de mí, y escucha mi oración ( Salmo 4:1 ).

Esta es realmente una oración de la tarde. Como David está llamando a Dios.

Oh hijos de los hombres, ¿hasta cuándo convertiréis mi gloria en vergüenza? ¿Hasta cuándo amaréis la vanidad y buscaréis el engaño [o el engaño]? Pero sabed que el SEÑOR ha apartado al que es piadoso para sí mismo: el SEÑOR oirá cuando yo lo llame. Salmo 5:1-12

Salmo 5:1-12 es una oración de la mañana. Salmo 4:1-8 fue la oración de la tarde, y ahora la de la mañana.

Escucha mis palabras, oh SEÑOR; considera mi meditación. Oye la voz de mi clamor, Rey mío y Dios mío, porque a ti oraré. Mi voz oirás por la mañana, oh SEÑOR; de mañana a ti dirigiré mi oración, y miraré hacia ti ( Salmo 5:1-3 ).

But as for me (Salmo 5:7),

Now here is the contrast. Now, as I told you, poetry to them is contrasting ideas or the compounding of an idea. Here comes the contrast,

But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple. Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face. For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue. Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee (Salmo 5:7-10).

Contrast.
