Il se peut que le Seigneur travaille pour nous. Cette expression n'impliquait pas de doute: elle signifiait simplement que l'objet qu'il visait n'était pas en son pouvoir , qu'il dépendait de Dieu et qu'il n'attendait le succès ni de sa propre force ni de son propre mérite.
