2 Chroniques 26:23

So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burial which belonged to the kings; for they said, He is a leper: and Jotham his son reigned in his stead.

Ils l'ont enterré ... dans le champ de l'enterrement qui appartenait aux rois. Il a été inhumé, non pas dans la tombe des rois, mais à proximité, comme le cadavre d'un lépreux l'aurait pollué.
