Deutéronome 14:21

Ye shall not eat of any thing that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

Tu le donneras à l'étranger - pas à un prosélyte, car lui, ainsi qu'un Israélite, était soumis à cette loi; mais un voyageur ou un voyageur païen.

Tu ne feras pas cuire un enfant. C'est le troisième endroit où l'interdiction est répétée. Elle était dirigée contre une cérémonie païenne annuelle (voir les notes à Exode 23:19; Exode 34:26).
