Ézéchiel 17:23

In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.

Sous lui habiteront toutes les volailles. L '"arbre à moutarde" de l'Évangile, petit au début, mais recevant enfin tout sous son cachet (Matthieu 13:32); l'antithèse de l'Antéchrist, symbolisée par l'Assyrie, dont on dit la même chose (Ézéchiel 31:6), et Babylone (Daniel 4:12). L'Antéchrist assume par mimétisme la puissance universelle appartenant réellement au Christ.
